Several African stars are set to feature in the 2019/20 UEFA Europa League Round of 16 first-leg matches on Thursday night.

Manchester United, who have Nigerian marksman Odion Ighalo and Ivorian defender Eric Bailly on their books, will be away to Austrian side LASK.

Ighalo was on the scoresheet as the English giants eliminated Belgian side Club Brugge in the Round of 32 second-leg encounter last month.

Meanwhile, Senegal international Demba Ba is expected to lead Istanbul Basaksehir’s attack when they host Danish football heavyweights FC Copenhagen.

Ba hit the back of the net for Basaksehir as they thrashed Goztepe 3-0 in the Turkish Super Lig clash last weekend.

His compatriot Pape Abou Cisse will be in action for Greek giants Olympiacos Piraeus against English outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers in Greece.

The towering central defender scored for the Greek giants as they eliminated former English champions Arsenal in the Round of 32 second-leg match last month.

Lastly, Nigerian midfielder Joe Aribo will be looking to help Scottish giants Rangers secure a first-leg advantage against German outfit Bayer Leverkusen in Glasgow.
