Ghana international Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has opened up about life in Italy during the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
Italy has been the worst-affected country in Europe by the outbreak having reportedly recorded over 60,578, cases and 6,077 deaths.
Agyemang-Badu is currently on the books of Hellas Verona on loan from fellow Italian Serie A club Udinese.
The 29-year-old midfield maestro has revealed that he has isolated himself.
“As I speak I have not to step foot out of my door since March 6, it is very worrying out here,” Agyemang-Badu told Ghana Television from Italy.
“Just last week my foodstuffs got finished and I had to call my physiotherapist to bring me some.
“Everywhere is closed, the only place you can go to is work, hospital and maybe the supermarket.”
Agyemang-Badu was hospitalised in August last year with blood clots on his lungs, but was cleared to play football in December.
Serie A has been suspended due to the coronavirus which continues to spread throughout Italy.
