Algeria international Ismael Bennacer has admitted that he misses playing football.
The central midfielder is on the books of AC Milan in Italy where football activities have been halted because of the coronavirus outbreak.
Bennacer, who helped Algeria clinch the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) title in Egypt, has told Football Italia that he trains twice or three times daily.
The former Arsenal FC academy player is confident of a win over the coronavirus.
“I hope you are all well, it was only to return to the delicate situation we are all experiencing,” Bennacer said.
“We must all be united, we will come out stronger, the whole world. You have to keep your head up.
“I, for one, continue to keep in shape. I try to take care of myself. I hope you will do the same,” the 22-year-old player added.
“I train two or three times a day, if I can. I miss the pitch so much; it will be even more beautiful when we can return to play for this fantastic audience.
“Thank you all, take care of yourself. We are united.”
Bennacer has been a regular under Milan manager Stefano Pioli this season having made 20 appearances in Serie A.
