French Ligue 1 club Stade Rennais have slapped a €30million price tag on star forward M’Baye Niang.

According to BeIN Sports several clubs including German Bundesliga club Schalke 04 have expressed interest in signing the Senegal international at the end of the season.

Niang joined the French club on a permanent deal in July, after playing a crucial role in the club’s Coupe de France success last season while on-loan from Torino.

He has carried that form into the current season, helping Rennais to the cusp of UEFA Champions League qualification. They currently occupy third place in the league amid a global shutdown due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic which has disrupted world football indefinitely.

Niang has scored 15 goals in 36 appearances across all competitions with 10 of those strikes coming in the league.

The 25-year-old has scored four goals in 15 appearances for Senegal since making his debut for the Teranga Lions three years ago.
