Crystal Palace and Ivory Coast star Wilfried Zaha says he is happy to see former teammate Aaron Wan-Bissaka succeeding at Manchester United.
Wan-Bissaka made a £50million move from Selhurst Park to Old Trafford at the start of the 2019-20 season and has quickly become a cornerstone of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
This is in contrast to Zaha, who moved from the Eagles to the Red Devils in 2013, but struggled to establish himself.
Asked during an interview with fans which player was the hardest to play against in training, he said: “Aaron. He is very good, so hard to get past him.
“Have I watched him at United? I’ve watched a few games, what I thought of him is what I thought before.
“Everything that people are saying now – calling him ‘The Spider’ – we knew before, it is just that he is playing in front of the world now.
“We were saying it all before but it is nice to see the world know it now.”
