Denizlispor president Ali Cetin is unhappy with Gambia international Modou Barrow’s behaviour.
The forward recently returned to his home country without permission from the Turkish Super Lig club.
Barrow is currently on a season-long loan deal at Denizlispor from English Championship side Reading FC.
The 27-year-old attacker could be fired by the Roosters as Cetin feels that Barrow has endangered the health of the team.
“He told us about the family problems of the football player. In our research, we learned Modou Barrow had gone abroad from the club about 10 days ago,” Cetin told Mackolik.
“He may have gone for family reasons but we will make a decision, being discussed is not a valid excuse.
“Barrow’s health endangers the health of the team. To get back to Turkey again, he will have at least a 14-day quarantine period, we will look to evaluate.”
Barrow, who is a former Leeds United player, has been a regular for the Roosters having featured in 24 league matches and netted three goals in the process.
The Super Lig has been suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak.
