Valencia will only sell star midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia if his $76 million release clause is triggered.
According to Eldesmarque, Valencia will only be willing to negotiate with possible suitors if they feel that a reasonable offer has been put on the table.
English Premier League rivals Everton and Tottenham Hotspur have expressed reported interest in the Central African Republic international, who is contracted to Valencia until June 2022.
The French-born midfielder started his professional career at RC Lens before moves to Sevilla, Monaco and Inter within the space of three years.
Kondogbia joined Valencia on-loan in 2017 before completing a permanent move to the Spanish LaLiga club a year later. The 27-year-old has established himself as an integral member of the Valencia squad and has scored seven goals in his 89 appearances for the club.
He was also part of the team that clinched Copa Del Rey success in Valencia’s 100th year of existence.
