Manchester United will reportedly work through their transfer shortlist before making a final decision on Odion Ighalo.
According to the Evening Standard, the Red Devils won’t sign the former Nigeria international until they rule out transfers for top targets Harry Kane and Erling Haaland.
United are also said to be interested in Moussa Dembele and Timo Werner and won’t commit to making Ighalo’s move permanent before exploring other options.
Ighalo moved to Old Trafford on-loan from Shanghai Shenhua in January in a deal that is set to be extended past its May deadline due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that has indefinitely halted the football season.
The 30-year-old has scored four goals in eight appearances across all competitions for United, and is said to have impressed the club’s hierarchy.
Ighalo retired from international football following the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in which he helped the Super Eagles to a third-place finish.
