Real Madrid have reportedly reignited their interest in Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
According to France Football, Los Blancos have approached the Gunners over a potential deal for the Gabon international.
Arsenal are eager to keep hold over their star striker who’s current contract at the Emirates expires in June 2021.
The North London club are reportedly working with Aubameyang over a new deal. Arsenal currently run the risk of losing the 30-year-old for free at the expiry of his contract next year and could be forced to sell him at the end of the 2019-20 season if they fail in their attempts to persuade the forward of staying at the club.
Aubameyang has attracted interest from several possible suitors in recent months with Barcelona and Manchester United also said to be monitoring his current situation.
The former Borussia Dortmund forward has scored 61 goals in 97 appearances for Arsenal across all competitions.
