Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi has made it known that he has no intentions of leaving Leicester City.
The 23-year-old player has established himself as one of the best defensive midfielders in the English Premier League.
His impressive exploits have reportedly attracted interest from the biggest clubs in England, Arsenal and Manchester United.
However, Ndidi has insisted that there is no need for him to leave the Foxes where his contract will expire at the end of June 2024.
“We are doing well and I am enjoying myself here. I still have a contract with Leicester,” Ndidi told ESPN.
“I am learning and trying to improve myself every day and I am doing okay here so no need to go anywhere.”
Ndidi has struggled with injuries this season, but he has managed to make 29 appearances across all competitions.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal and United will make offers for the former KRC Genk midfielder during the next transfer window.
The 2019/20 Premier League season has been suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
