Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi is bigger than former English Premier League champions Leicester City.
This is according to former Everton striker Daniel Amokachi, who believes it is time for the highly-rated midfielder to change clubs.
The 23-year-old Ndidi has established himself as one of the best defensive midfielders in the English Premier League.
His exploits have not gone unnoticed as English giants Arsenal FC and Manchester United are reportedly keen to sign him.
Former Nigeria international Amokachi has urged his compatriot to dump the Foxes and move to a bigger club.
“I’ve been insisting for a while now that Ndidi is bigger than Leicester City,” Amokachi told Brila FM.
“My apologies to the fans of the club, but that is the reality we live in now and it will be a great move for him.
Italian champions Juventus have reportedly joined the race for Ndidi’s services.
“He’ll have the chance to play with Blaise Matuidi and could learn a lot from the World Cup winner,” he added.
“Imagine also that he’ll get to play as teammates with Cristiano Ronaldo. So, it’ll a big move if it happens and I don’t see it any other way.”
Nididi has featured in 29 games for Leicester this season, but the campaign has been halted due to the coronavirus pandemic since March 2020.
