Former Bafana Bafana midfielder Steven ‘Schillo’ Pienaar established himself as a fan favourite over four spells at Everton.

Pienaar initially joined the Toffees on-loan from Borussia Dortmund in 2007 before completing a permanent switch to the English Premier League club a year later. He joined Tottenham Hotspur in 2011 but would soon return to Goodison Park, first on-loan and then permanently in 2012 before leaving the Merseyside club for good four years later.

In total, the South African scored 26 goals in 229 appearances for Everton and he now serves as an International Ambassador to the club.
