Newcastle United are reportedly keen on signing Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha.
According to The Sun, the Ivory Coast international has emerged on the club’s transfer radar amid ongoing negotiations of a big money takeover.
Should the club’s Saudi takeover be approved by the English Premier League, Newcastle will have almost unlimited spending power and in preparation, the Magpies have made initial inquiries into the availability of Zaha.
The 27-year-old came very close to leaving Palace last year with former Arsenal boss Unai Emery having revealed that he was eager on signing the Eagles winger, only for the club’s board to side with the signing of Nicolas Pepe instead.
Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are also long term admirers of the attacker who is contracted to Palace until 2023.
Zaha came through the ranks at Palace and has been on the books of the London club for most of his career. In total, he has scored 56 goals and assisted 70 in 353 appearances for the club.
