On this day in 2010, African football great Samuel Eto’o won his third and final UEFA Champions League title.

Eto’o joined Italian giants Inter Milan after winning a treble with FC Barcelona in the 2008/09 season, which included his second Champions League crown with the Spanish club in three years.

The former Cameroon international then completed an unprecedented back-to-back treble by winning the Serie A, Coppa Italia and Champions League in his first season at the San Siro.

Diego Milito scored a brace for Inter in the Champions League final on this day in 2010, as Inter defeated Bayern Munich 2-0 in Madrid to clinch their first European crown in 45 years.
