Guinea international Florentin Pogba has been snapped up by two-time French champions FC Sochaux.
The Yellow and Blues announced that they had officially completed the signing of defender on Wednesday night.
Pogba has joined Sochaux on a free transfer in a deal that runs until 2023 according to the club.
Sochaux, who are campaigning in the Ligue 2, made the announcement on their official website.
“Florentin Pogba is officially Sochalian! The 29-year-old Guinea international defender signed this Wednesday for three seasons after having passed the usual medical examination,” a club statement read.
The towering player has been a free agent since his contract with Major League Soccer (MLS) side Atlanta United expired at the end of last year.
Pogba, who once on the books of French giants Saint Etienne, has two brothers who are also professional footballers, Mathias and Paul.
His twin brother, Mathias, plays for Spanish lower division side, CD Manchego Ciudad Real and the Guinean national team.
While his younger brother, Paul, plays for English football powerhouse, Manchester United and the French national team.
