On the day of his 35th birthday we take a look back at one of the great English Premier League goals.
Papiss Cisse arrived in England from SC Freiburg in 2012 and would enjoy four successful years on Tyneside before moving to China and eventually Turkey. In total, the Senegal international scored 44 goals in 131 appearances for the Magpies.
His best goal for the club came in a 2-0 win over Chelsea in Stamford Bridge on 2 May 2012. His half-volley from an acute angle swerved and then dipped over the head of Blues shot-stopper Petr Cech and into the back of the net.
