Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is set to part ways with Paris Saint-Germain at the expiry of his contract this month.
According to RMC Sport as reported by Goal.com, the Cameroon international will officially be a free agent June 30 after the French champions decided against offering him a contract extension.
The French FA still hopes to play the two remaining cup finals after cancelling the Ligue 1 season. PSG are set to take on Saint-Etienne in the Coupe de France and Lyon in Coupe de la Ligue final respectively, while they are also still in contention for the UEFA Champions League, but Choupo-Moting will not remain in Paris to see out the aforementioned competitions.
Choupo-Moting joined PSG from Stoke City in what was a surprise move in August 2018. In total, he scored eight goals in 48 appearances for the club,
Born in Hamburg, the 31-year-old opted to play for Cameroon at international level and has scored 14 times in 49 caps for the Indomitable Lions.
