Algeria international Ismael Bennacer has commented on reports linking him with top European clubs.
The central midfielder has impressed while on the books of Italian giants AC Milan in the current 2019/20 campaign.
French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and English giants Manchester City are reportedly interested in Bennacer’s services.
The 22-year-old player only joined Milan on a five-year deal from fellow Italian club Empoli last July.
Bennacer admitted that he is honoured to be linked with PSG and City, but he indicated that he is happy in Milan.
“I am not aware of anything. I just work, give everything on the pitch and I am at the service of AC Milan,” Bennacer told Le Buteur via Milan Live.
“My focus is on my club, where I feel great. Obviously the interest of big clubs honours me.”
The France-born player was once part of English giants Arsenal’s academy and first team, but he never played a Premier League game for the team.
He has made 24 appearances across all competitions for Milan this season and he is expected to start when they face Lecce in a Serie A clash on Monday.
