Cameroon international Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has set his sight on winning Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue.
The experienced forward has already won two French Ligue 1 titles with Paris Saint Germain (PSG) since joining the club in 2018.
PSG are set to take on Saint Etienne in the 2019/20 Coupe de France final at the Stade de France in Paris on 24 July 2020.
The Parisians will then take on Olympique Lyonnais in the 2019/20 Coupe de la Ligue final at the same venue on 31 July 2020.
“Winning the Coupe de France is a real goal. We didn’t win it last season, like the Coupe de la Ligue,” Choupo-Moting told the club’s official website.
“This year we need to win both. We will give everything to lift both trophies. We want to play and win. These trophies are the only ones I’m missing here in France.”
Choupo-Moting, 31, explained that they cannot afford to underestimate Saint Etienne, who eliminated AS Monaco on their way to the final.
“I expect a team which will be 150 percent motivated. They know that we are the best team in France and it will be very, very difficult,” he continued.
“So they have to have an incredible day. But everything is possible in football. We have to take this game very, very seriously. They still have a good team.
“You don’t reach the cup final just by chance. You have to deserve it. They struggled a little bit in the league, but they can also have a very good day. So we have to take it very seriously and it won’t be easy.”
Choupo-Moting has 55 caps for Cameroon and he has netted 15 goals in the process, and he was part of the Indomitable Lions squads at the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cup finals.
