SSC Napoli are yet to receive offers for Senegal international Kalidou Koulibaly.
This is according to the Italian club’s sporting drector Cristiano Giuntoli, who provided an update on the highly-rated centre back.
Koulibaly is widely considered to be one of the best central defenders in the world having helped Napoli win Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana.
English giants Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Spanish side FC Barcelona are all said to have him high on their wanted lists.
One of the clubs will have to purchase Koulibaly as he still has three years left on his contract at Napoli.
“At this moment, we haven’t received any offers,” Giuntoli said on Goal.
“Koulibaly had important offers in the past and a great deal of interest, but we are in no rush to make decisions.
“We consider our players important and will discuss the situation with them.”
As Koulibaly was born in France to Senegalese parents, he was eligible to represent both nations at the international level, and initially played for the France national under-20 football team.
The tough-tackling player later made his senior debut with Senegal in 2015 and was a member of the Senegal squad that took part at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
He was named to the side that represented Senegal at the 2018 FIFA World Cup the following year, and subsequently helped his team to the final of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
