Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a brace to lead Arsenal to a 2-1 win over London rivals Chelsea at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
Victory in the final secured a record-extending 14th FA Cup title for the Gunners who also secured European football for next season as a result.
Aubameyang’s Arsenal future remains up in the air despite the win, but Mikel Arteta will be confident that the victory will play a part in convincing his club captain to remain in North London.
The Gabon international enjoyed another superb season for the club. In total he scored 29 goals in 44 appearances across all competitions including four goals in two FA Cup matches.
