Rachid Ghezzal could reportedly join Fiorentina on a permanent deal over the next few weeks after spending the last season on-loan at the Serie A club.
According to the Daily Mail, the Italian club are interested in negotiating a £9million buyout clause for the Algerian winger.
Ghezzal featured 21 times across all competitions for La Viola through the course of the 2019/20 season as the club secured a ninth place finish in the league.
The 28-year-old signed for Leicester City from Monaco for around £13 million in 2018 but has struggled to break into the club’s first team under Brendan Rodgers.
Ghezzal, who was seen as a direct replacement for fellow countryman Riyad Mahrez, has scored three goals in 23 matches for the Foxes.
