Highlands Park will face the challenge of hosting Absa Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns at Dobsonville Stadium on Friday 14 August 2020, kick-off at 18h00.

Highlands have gone three league matches without a win after they were beaten 2-0 at home by SuperSport United on March 8. The Lions of the North have claimed 22 points from 12 home matches thus far in the season.

Sundowns extended their unbeaten run in the league to five matches, returning with a 0-0 home draw against Orlando Pirates on August 11. The Brazilians have taken 18 points from away matches in the 2019/20 campaign.

When the teams met earlier this season, at Lucas Moripe Stadium in October 2019, Sundowns claimed a 1-0 home win thanks to a late strike from forward Mauricio Affonso.
