Golden Arrows will look to break their winless run in the Absa Premiership when they host Black Leopards at Ellis Park Stadium on Friday 21 August 2020, kick-off at 13h30.
Arrows recorded a fourth straight winless match in the league when they were held 0-0 at Bidvest Wits on August 18, while they have also failed to scored in their last three outings. Abafana Bes’thende have claimed 22 points from 12 home matches so far this season.
Leopards returned from the break with a crucial 3-2 home win over Maritzburg United on August 16, a result which keeps them in the hunt to avoid relegation from the top flight. Lidoda Duvha have claimed just five points from 12 away matches in the 2019/20 campaign.
In head-to-head stats, Arrows and Leopards have met in 21 top-flight league matches since 2001/02. The Durban side boasts an unbeaten home record in the rivalry, with seven wins and three draws from 10 matches as hosts.
When the teams met earlier this season, at Thohoyandou Stadium in November 2019, Leopards claimed a 2-1 home win thanks to goals from Lesedi Kapinga and Themba Ndlovu.
