Black Leopards will chase a hat-trick of wins in the Absa Premiership when they host SuperSport United at FNB Stadium on Tuesday 25 August 2020, kick-off at 18h00.

Leopards recorded back-to-back wins for the first time this season when they followed a 3-2 triumph over Maritzburg United with a 2-1 victory away to Golden Arrows on August 21 – Mwape Musonda has scored three goals across the two games. Lidoda Duvha have claimed 18 points from 13 home matches so far this season.

SuperSport picked up a third win from their last four league matches when they defeated Polokwane City 2-0 at home on August 19, courtesy of goals from Ghampani Lungu and Bradley Grobler. Matsatsantsa have claimed 17 points from 12 away matches in the 2019-20 campaign.

In head-to-head stats, SuperSport and Leopards have met in 17 league matches since 2001/02. Matsatsantsa have claimed eight wins compared to four for Lidoda Duvha, while five games have been drawn. The Limpopo side has claimed three wins from their eight home matches in the rivalry, suffering three defeats in the process.

When the teams met earlier this season, at Lucas Moripe Stadium in October 2019, they played to a 2-2 draw. SuperSport twice led through Aubrey Modiba and Thamsanqa Gabuza, but Leopards hit back through Chris Katjiukua and Pentjie Zulu.
