Stellenbosch look to keep up good form

Stellenbosch will look to keep up their good form in the Absa Premiership when they host Chippa United at Tuks Stadium on Friday 28 August 2020, kick-off at 18h00.

Stellenbosch have claimed seven points from the last nine available after holding log leaders Kaizer Chiefs 1-1 away from home on August 23, with another goal from Leletu Skelem. The Cape side has claimed 21 points from 13 home matches so far this season.

Chippa come into the match off the back of a 1-0 win away to Baroka FC on August 22, a result which gave a massive boost to their Premiership survival hopes. The Chilli Boys have taken 14 points from 13 games on the road in the 2019/20 campaign.

In head-to-head stats, Stellenbosch and Chippa have met in just one previous top-flight league match. That encounter took place earlier this season, with the teams drawing 0-0 at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in August 2019.
