George Lebese completed an incredible comeback for the Colorado Springs Switchbacks in the USL Championship this week.
The South African winger came on at the start of the second-half with his team trailing Austin Bold 4-0 at Weidner Field. Lebese set up his club’s second as they successfully halved the deficit before the hour mark before Christian Volesky completed his brace to make it a one goal game.
Lebese then stepped up with a long range thunderbolt to level matters as the Switchbacks conjured a 4-4 draw and a point for their efforts.
The Switchbacks have endured a tough start to the season and have won just once in eight matches, but will take confidence from the fightback heading into their next game.
