Highlands Park will look to end their home fixtures for the 2019/20 Absa Premiership season on a high when they welcome Cape Town City to Dobsonville Stadium on Wednesday 2 September 2020, kick-off at 18h00.
Highlands played to a fourth successive league draw (and a seventh straight match without a win) when they held Maritzburg United 1-1 at home on August 29, with a late equaliser from Rodney Ramagalela. The Lions of the North have claimed 24 points from 14 home matches so far this season.
City racked up a fifth win from their last six league matches when they defeated Golden Arrows 4-1 away from home on August 29, with goals from hat-trick hero Fagrie Lakay and Tashreeq Morris. The Citizens have claimed 12 points from 14 away matches in the 2019/20 campaign.
In head-to-head stats, City and Highlands have met in five previous top-flight matches. Each side has claimed one win, while three games have been drawn. The Tembisa-based side boast an unbeaten home record, with one win and one draw from two turns as host.
When the teams met earlier this season, at Cape Town Stadium in November 2019, they played out a goalless stalemate.
