Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly set to offer Eric Choupo-Moting a new deal after his contract expired in August.
According to Le10Sport, the French champions are looking to hand the Cameroon international a one-year contract.
Choupo-Moting moved to PSG from Stoke City two years ago and successfully featured as a back-up option to the French club’s all-star attacking cast.
The 31-year-old scored nine goals in 51 appearances for PSG and featured prominently in their run to the UEFA Champions League final last month, where he most notably scored a late winner in the club’s 2-1 victory over Atalanta at the quarter-final stage of the competition.
Born in Germany, Choupo-Moting came through the ranks at Hamburger SV and played professionally in the Bundesliga for 10 years before moving to England where he suffered relegation from the English Premier League with the Potters.
He has scored 14 goals in 49 appearances for the Indomitable Lions.
