Mbwana Samatta continues to be linked with a move away from Aston Villa.
According to Fotospor as reported by BirminghamLive, Turkish Super Lig club Besiktas are interested in signing the Tanzania international.
Samatta only arrived at Villa Park from KRC Genk in January but has scored just one goal in 14 Premier League appearances.
Villa strengthened their attack with the signing of Ollie Watkins from Brentford earlier this week and this has fuelled talk that Samatta could well be on his way out of the club.
The 27-year-old scored 76 goals in 191 appearances for Genk having made a name for himself at African giants TP Mazembe.
Samatta scored for Villa in their EFL Cup final defeat to Manchester City and on Premier League debut, but hasn’t scored in all competitions since March.
Villa kick-off their English Premier League campaign at home to Sheffield United on the 21st of September.
