Several clubs are reportedly battling it out for Jeremie Boga’s signature.
According to Goal, Sassuolo are holding out for €40 million for their in-demand winger who joined the club from Chelsea in 2018.
Napoli reportedly tabled an offer of around €30 million for the Ivory Coast international, while Rennes had a €20 million rejected by the Serie A club.
Furthermore, Bayer Leverkusen are said to be monitoring the situation following their sale of Kai Havertz to Chelsea where Boga managed just one first team appearance.
Roma, Sevilla and Brighton have also joined the race to sign the 23-year-old who scored 11 goals in 34 Serie A appearances for Sassuolo last season. He also chipped in with four assists.
Sassuolo kick-off their 2020/21 campaign at home to Cagliari on the 20th of September.
Boga was born in France, but made his debut for the Elephants in 2017.
