Daniel Amartey has reportedly emerged on Fulham’s transfer radar.
According to Football Insider, Fulham have approached Leicester City to suss out the availability of the Ghana international.
Amartey hasn’t played a competitive fixture since undergoing ankle surgery in October 2018. He only recently returned from injury and found the back of the net in a friendly match against Blackburn Rovers earlier this month.
The 25-year-old has made 64 appearances for the Foxes since moving to the King Power Stadium from FC Copenhagen in January 2016.
According to the report, the Cottagers could fork out around £5 million to secure Amartey’s services. The versatile midfielder can play at both centre and right-back.
Amartey has been capped 25 times by the Black Stars and was part of the Leicester team that won the 2015/16 Premier League title, playing five times.
