Ivory Coast international Wilfried Zaha is not for sale according to Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson.
The experienced coach hopes to keep Zaha beyond the current transfer window with the 27-year-old having impressed thus far in the 2020//21 season.
Zaha has netted three goals in his first two English Premier League matches and he has been linked with a move away from Palace.
The former Manchester United winger, who has three years left on his contract, has stated that he would like to leave Palace for a bigger club in the past.
“He is under contract, he is not on the transfer list and we don’t want to sell him,” Hodgson said on TalkSport.
“But of course, I would be naive to say a situation where the club doesn’t want to sell doesn’t mean you don’t get offers which are going to cause you some problems.
“At the moment, that hasn’t happened so I will continue to enjoy having him available.”
Zaha was linked with a transfer to English giants Arsenal, who made a £40 million offer for the player in June 2019.
However, Palace rejected as too low and Zaha stayed put at the London side.
