Mamelodi Sundowns continue to be linked with a move for Cape Town City’s Kermit Erasmus.

The Bafana Bafana forward returned to his best form with 13 goals in 25 league appearances for the Citizens last season, including four goals in seven matches in the Premier Soccer League’s (PSL) bio-bubble.

Cape Town City boss John Comitis has laughed off rumours linking the 30-year-old with a move to the Brazilians but did reveal that there has been interest for midfielder Thabo Nodada.

“I saw it in the media and I am laughing. I am waiting to see what is coming out,” Comitis told KickOff.com.

“Nodada is not going anywhere. There was an opportunity for Turkey but it hasn’t come through. At this stage he is staying.”

Cape Town City were the form team towards the end of the 2019/20 season and finished the campaign in sixth place following a run of six wins in their final eight games.
