Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is set to join Bayern Munich on a two-year deal.
According to Goal.com, the Cameroon international is set to return to the German Bundesliga after leaving Paris-Saint Germain at the end of last season.
The 31-year-old played against the UEFA Champions League champions in Lisbon and will now join the Munich club as cover for Robert Lewandowski.
Choupo-Moting has scored 45 goals in 204 Bundesliga appearances and returns to Germany for the first time since leaving Schalke for Stoke City three years ago.
The towering forward came through the ranks at Hamburger SV before representing FC Nuremberg, FSV Mainz and Schalke in Germany’s top-flight.
Choupo-Moting scored six goals in 20 appearances across all competitions for PSG last season, including the decisive goal in the club’s 2-1 win over Atalanta in the Champions League quarter-finals.
He could make his Bayern debut away to Duren in the DFB-Pokal on October 15.
