Moses Foh-Amoaning, one of Ghana’s top law lecturers and a renowned broadcaster, has asserted that David Duncan should be the Black Stars’ head coach.
Duncan, who has worked as a tactician for the likes of Great Olympics, Ashanti Gold, Hearts of Oak and South African club Free State Stars, is currently the assistant coach to C.K. Akonnor in the Black Stars’ set-up.
He has also worked for the Ghana Football Association by taking charge of the U-17 and U-20 national teams.
“I am happy he [Akonnor] has David Duncan with him. He is all rounded as he understands the technical aspect of the game and he has played too,” Foh-Moaning told Nhyira FM Power Sports, as quoted by Ghana Soccernet.
“I even feel David Duncan should have been the head coach but it is fine he is assistant.”
Akonnor and Duncan are currently preparing the Black Stars for a return to action, as they gear up to play friendly matches against Mali later today [Friday October 9] and Qatar on Monday next week [October 12].
