Mwape Musonda has signed a one-year deal with United Arab Emirates club side Hatta Club.
The Zambia international has spent the last four years on the books of South African club Black Leopards who he helped avoid relegation from the country’s top division last season.
The Limpopo club ended the campaign in 15th place on the DStv Premiership standings but avoided relegation following success in the play-offs with Musonda scoring three goals in three matches.
Musonda finished the 2018/19 season as the top division’s top scorer, a season after topping the second division scoring charts.
The 29-year-old was thanked by Leopards boss David Thidiela for his contribution to the club, particularly for the part he played in ensuring their survival.
“Musonda has gone to Dubai, he has gone with my blessings,” Thidiela told KickOff.com.
“He has done well for the club and deserves a chance to play overseas. He is a hard-working player and gave everything for Black Leopards.”
Hatta are based in Dubai and play in the Arabian Gulf League.
