Cameroon captain Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is a good signing for German giants FC Bayern Munich.
This is according to Germany international Julien Draxler, who played with Choupo-Moting at French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
The experienced striker was snapped up by the Bavarians after he became a free agent at the end of the 2019/20 season having left the Parisians.
PSG winger Draxler has revealed Choupo-Moting’s best attributes having played with the lanky forward at German club Schalke 04 between 2014 and 2015,
“Choupo is someone who can make friends very well. He gives everything for the team every day and doesn’t have a particularly big ego,” Draxler said on Goal.
“He just enjoys football and comes to training every day in a good mood. Bayern can look forward to a great guy in the dressing room.
“In terms of sport, he showed us in Paris towards the end of the season that you can expect something from him if you throw him in.”
Choupo-Moting could make his debut for Bayern when they face Arminia Bielefeld in a German Bundesliga game on October 17.
The 31-year-old is not part of the Cameroon squad which will face Rwanda in a friendly match on October 09.
