Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino is very grateful to play alongside African superstars Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah at Liverpool FC.
Firmino, Mane and Salah have formed a deadly front three at the reigning English Premier League champions.
The trio has netted 225 goals collectively since they became teammates at Liverpool when Salah arrived from Italian giants AS Roma in June, 2017.
Such incredible scoring returns helped to catapult the Reds to four major trophies in the previous two seasons, including the UEFA Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup.
“I admire Salah a lot,” Firmino said on the club’s official website.
“I love the way he plays. He scores a lot of goals. You wouldn’t believe how hard he works.”
Egypt international Salah’s performances at Liverpool have earned him a number of individual accolades, including the PFA Players’ Player of the Year and he also came third in the 2018 Best FIFA Men’s Player award.
Firmino also lauded Mane, who finished as the league’s joint-top goalscorer in the 2018/19 season, winning the Premier League Golden Boot and he finished fourth for the Ballon d’Or and fifth for The Best FIFA Men’s Player award.
“I’m very grateful to play alongside him and Mane, another magnificent player,” the former TSG Hoffenheim player concluded.
Senegal vice-captain Mane is also the reigning CAF African Footballer of the Year.
