Ahmed Hegazi has joined SaudI Arabian club Al-Ittihad on-loan until the end of the season.
The deal includes an obligation to buy at the end of the 2020-21 campaign as the Egypt international brings a close to his three-year stay at West Bromwich Albion.
Hegazi initially joined the English Premier League club on-loan from Al Ahly in 2017 before completing a permanent move to the Hawthorns in January 2018.
The 29-year-old was a regular starter in his first two seasons across divisions but fell down the pecking order during West Brom’s successful promotion back to the top-flight.
He made just 16 Championship appearances for the Baggies last season and despite starting in a 0-0 draw at home to Burnley last time out, he has now parted ways with the club.
In total, he scored four goals in 104 appearances for the club.
Hegazi’s move to the Saudi Premier League comes shortly after Ahmed Musa’s departure with the Nigeria international having parted ways with Al Nassr.
The Saudi Arabian transfer window is one of few that remain open, closing on November 6.
