Ghana will battle with Sudan in the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier on Thursday.


Kick-off is at 18h00 CAT.


The Group C match is scheduled to be played at the Cape Coast Stadium in a fishing post in Ghana, Cape Coast,


The Black Stars are placed at the top of the Group C standings having collected six points from their first two games.


They started their Group C campaign with a 2-0 win over South Africa at home, before securing a 1-0 win over Sao Tome and Principe away in November 2019.


Ghana will look to United Kingdom-based midfielder-cum-striker Andre Ayew, who has been in top form for Swansea City in the English Championship.


Meanwhile, Sudan are placed third on the Group C standings having collected three points from their first two matches.


The Falcons of Jediane thumped Sao Tome and Principe 4-0 at home in their first match, before losing 1-0 to South Africa away in November 2019.


Influential midfielder Ramadan Agab, who is on the books of Sudanese giants Al Merrikh, is the player to watch out for in the Falcons of Jediane team.


The last meeting between Ghana and Sudan was in June 2013 and the former emerged 3-1 winners in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Omdurman.
