Mozambique will host Cameroon in the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier on Monday.

Kick-off is at 18h00 CAT.

The encounter is scheduled to be played at the Estádio Nacional do Zimpeto in the capital city of Mozambique, Maputo.

The Mambas are coming off a 4-1 defeat to Cameroon in a Group F match which was played in Douala on Thursday.

As a result, Mozambique are placed second on the Group F standings with four points from three matches.

They will look to Portugal-based midfielder Kevin ‘Kamo-Kamo’ Cumbane, who scored the Mambas’ consolation goal against Cameroon.

Meanwhile, Cameroon are oozing with confidence after securing a big victory at home against Mozambique.

The Indomitable Lions are now placed at the top of the Group F standings with seven points from three matches.

Vincent Aboubakar is the dangerman for the five-time African champions having netted twice against the Mambas at home.

The last time Cameroon hosted Mozambique was in February 1999.

The Indomitable Lions ran out 1-0 winners in the 2000 AFCON qualifier in the Cameroonian city of Yaounde.
