Sudan will battle with Ghana in the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier on Tuesday.

Kick-off is at 18h00 CAT.

The encounter is scheduled to be played at the Al Hilal Stadium in the most populated city in Sudan and Khartoum State, Omdurman.

The Falcons of Jediane are coming off a 2-0 defeat to Ghana in a Group C match which was played in Cape Coast on Thursday.

As a result, Sudan are placed third on the Group C standings with three points from three matches.

They will look to Italy-based midfielder Ammar Taifour, who is on the books of Bastia Calcio and he is also the Sudan team captain.

Meanwhile, Ghana are brimming with confidence after securing a victory at home against Sudan.

The Black Stars are placed at the top of the Group C standings with nine points from three matches and another win over Sudan will see Ghana qualify for the finals.

Crystal Palace centre forward Jordan Ayew is the dangerman for the four-time African champions having netted once in three Group C matches.

The last time Sudan hosted Ghana was in June 2013.

Ghana ran out 3-1 winners over Sudan in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier in a match which was played in Omdurman.
