Riyad Mahrez scored an impressive hat-trick in Manchester City’s 5-0 win over Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday.
It is the second time that the Algeria international has scored three goals in a Premier League game and the first time he has done so for City, having netted a treble in Leicester City’s 3-0 win over Swansea City in December 2015.
Mahrez, who has now scored eight goals in eight games versus Burnley, also became the sixth African player to register 100 Premier League goal involvements after Didier Drogba, Emmanuel Adebayor, Yakubu Ayegbeni, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
The 29-year-old has now scored 29 goals and assisted the same amount in 107 appearances for the Cityzens across all competitions.
