Enyimba were among eight teams to book their place in the next round of the 2020-21 Caf Champions League on Sunday.
There were a total of eight matches scheduled for Sunday in Africa’s premier club competition but only seven took place with Asante Kotoko handed a walkover after their match versus Nouadhibou — which was originally rescheduled — was cancelled.
Two-time champions Enyimba edged into the next round on aggregate following a 1-1 draw with Rahimo in Aba.
In Sunday’s Caf Confederation Cup action, Cameroon giants Contonsport lost at home to Unisport but advanced following a 2-0 win in Togo last weekend.
The aggregate winners advance into the first round of their respective competitions, with the first round set to hold its first leg matches on December 22-23 and the return legs on January 5-6.
