Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah celebrates his 32nd birthday today.
The former Juventus and Inter midfielder is currently a free agent after leaving the Milan club at the start of October.
Asamoah started his professional career in Switzerland before moving on-loan to Torino in 2008. A permanent move to their Serie A rivals Udinese would follow in 2009 before joining Juventus three years later. It was with the Old Lady that Asamoah enjoyed his most successful spell as a player, winning six Serie A titles.
He joined fellow Italian giants Inter in 2018 and it was during his time at the Nerazzurri that he was asked to name his top five African footballers.
Fellow Ghanian Michael Essien, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Didier Drogba and former Inter star Samuel Eto’o made his list of top five African players.
