West Ham United have reportedly made a €30m offer for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri.
According to the Athletic, the Hammers have made a bid of €25m + €5m in add-ons over the weekend.
The Spanish club are said to have rejected West Ham’s initial offer but talks between the Premier League and LaLiga clubs are ongoing.
West Ham, who have also been linked with Stade Reims’ Senegalese forward Boulaye Dia, are in the market for a striker following the sale of Sabastien Haller to Ajax Amsterdam, which has left Michail Antonio as the only recognized striker in their first team squad.
En-Nesyri only joined Sevilla from Leganes in January 2020 after the Europa League champions triggered his €20 million release clause.
The 23-year-old Morocco international has scored 12 goals in 25 appearances across all competitions this season, including a hat-trick in a 3-2 victory over Real Sociedad earlier this month.
David Moyes’ West Ham moved up to ninth on the Premier League standings this past weekend following a 1-0 win over Burnley at London Stadium.
