On the day of his 27th birthday we relive Lazarous Kambole’s five-minute hat-trick.
The Zambia international scored the fastest hat-trick in Caf Champions League history, netting three times in five first-half minutes for ZESCO United in a 3-0 win over Mbabane Swallows in 2018.
Kambole opened the scoring in the 38th minute before adding two more before half-time in a comfortable win for the Zambian giants.
He earned a move to Kaizer Chiefs in July 2019, but has failed to replicate that sort of form in South Africa and has only scored once in 26 matches for the Soweto giants.
