Cagliari are reportedly considering to offer free agent Kwadwo Asamoah a deal.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Serie A club are looking to reunite the Ghana international with his former Inter teammates Radja Nainggolan and Diego Godin.
Asamoah is currently a free agent after leaving the Milan club at the start of October.
The 32-year-old started his professional career in Switzerland before moving on-loan to Torino in 2008. A permanent move to their Serie A rivals Udinese would follow in 2009 before joining Juventus three years later. It was with the Old Lady that Asamoah enjoyed his most successful spell as a player, winning six Serie A titles.
He joined fellow Italian giants Inter in 2018. He made a total of 53 appearances for the Nerazzurri before mutually agreeing to the termination of his contract after finding it increasingly difficult to break into Antonio Conte’s team.
Asamoah has been linked with a move to Fenerbahce, Sampdoria and Montreal Impact but could soon find a new home in Cagliari. Gli Isolani are currently struggling at the wrong end of the Serie A standings and head into matchday 20 in 18th place.
