Musa Barrow scored a well-taken brace in Bologna’s 3-0 demolition of Parma at Stadio Ennio Tardini on Sunday evening.
The Gambia international has impressed for Siniša Mihajlović’s side in Serie A this season and the Bologna boss revealed that he has been working hard with the 22-year-old in training, in an attempt to improve his movements in front of goal.
“It was a perfect performance. We scored three goals, could’ve had another two or three, and allowed practically nothing at the back,” Siniša Mihajlovi told Sky Sport Italia.
“I am happy for Musa, who scored two goals, as we’re working every day in training on the movements of a centre-forward and it’s paying off. He has the characteristics to be a centre-forward, he just needs to get himself into the situation to score.
“He still plays a bit more like a winger, but we are working every day on his movements, what he should and shouldn’t do. When he’s in front of the goal, he can get it in the net, that’s not the issue.”
Barrow now has nine goal involvements in 21 Serie A appearances for Bologna this season.
Victory, a first away win since November last year, moved Rossoblù up to 13th on the league standings, eight points above the relegation zone.
